  7. generated on the front surface.

  9. Prism ballasted lenses may be 
  10. truncated, that is a portion of 
  11. the edge is removed giving a 
  12. ΓÇ£flatΓÇ¥ side to the lens.  This, 
  13. in addition to the prism, helps 
  14. maintain rotational stabilization 
  15. of the lens.
